Dub meets Classical

The first of her kind, hip hop violinist Lindsey Sterling turns her ear to dubstep for the first time.  The result? Crystalize – A classical/dub instrumental named after Dr. Masaru Emoto’s findings, which concluded that human thoughts can have an impact on water.

Lindsey debuted her mash-up through a YouTube video performance, in which she plays the violin while whimsically dancing through an icicle city designed just for the shoot. Will her experiment be the start for a new sound for dub, and possibly the future of all music?

We will have to keep up with her to find out, at lindseystirlingviolin.com

Check out this unique combination of old meets new, in Lindsey Sterling’s video to Crystalize.
