This Wednesday (the 15th) come out and join an incredible evening of bass music at Nectar Lounge with Buku, ill-esha, Bassdrop Music artist Bizzara, and Man Amen & Callisto of Ganjaology! The night is getting started at 9pm with a special 30 minute set from the Ganjaology crew, followed up by some supreme sounds from Bassdrop Musics, Bizzara. Following the first half of the evening it will be time for Buku and ill-esha to let the North West know what’s been going on in their worlds through original music.
We hope to see you all out on the dance floor!
There is definitely NOT a lack of bass music to be stoked about this week in Seattle. Tonight Damn Son and Bassdrop Music have teamed up to bring you one of the East Coast’s hottest underground producers, BUKU, straight from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Having spent the last year getting his name out to the world, Buku will be showing Seattle exactly how the East gets down. With support from artists such as Diplo, Kastle, and Starkey…this is definitely not the last you’ll hear of Buku.
See you out tonight!
It’s not everyday I can say I’ve heard some new ‘original’ sounding trap, however today there was not a normal day. A few minutes after throwing on my SoundCloud player on my Iphone I found myself bobbing my head uncontrollably on the bus to some unknown tune. I dug my phone out of my pocket to check out who this mystery bass badman was, and found that I was listening to Buku’s new unreleased track that’s coming out on Never Say Die Records, FULLAGOLD. There is only a preview up so far…but it’s definitely enough to know that you’ll be hearing this one in the club worldwide all summer long. From the epic intro to the dubstepish trap wobbles that Buku subtly incorporates into this tune….everything just works. April 21st you’ll be able to get your copy of NEVER SAY DIE, VOLUME TWO, which has tracks from Buku, Dodge & Fuski, Schoolboy, Killagraham, Mobscene, Antiserum, and more.
