CASPA IN THE MIX!
This year at Sonic Bloom, the dubstep legend, Caspa, will be throwing down some heavy sounds for all dub heads in attendance. Having not changed his sound too much since his earlier production days in the early 2000’s, Caspa has kept the original dubstep sound alive, and to many peoples surprise, continues to bring new energy to the scene. Heading Sub Soldiers Records, Caspa and his squad of producers are constantly creating some of the heaviest club music around.
Make sure you don’t miss him this year at Sonic Bloom!
THE BITCHES ALL LOVE ME CUZ I’M FUCKIN’ CASPAAAAA!

” Caspa – Creatures Of The Night ”
Whoah! I gotta say, if someone had played this for me and asked me to guess the producer I would have been waaaaay wrong. Yes, Caspa is on his hip-hop game. Check it! Of course, it’s a banger. Big ups!
Here is a 22 track playlist from one of the greatest producers in the dubstep game. Enjoy these choons and be sure to grab a copy of Caspa’s latest EP, Sell Out. I’ll tell ya one more thing…this OG sure ain’t selling out!
Ahhhh, It’s gonna be a great end May with Caspa releasing his newest Ep entitled , Sell Out, on Dub Police. Here is a quick little preview of what’s in store for your subwoofers for the rest of the summer. My favorite tune out of Room 324, Jungle Juice, and You Sell Out, is definitely You Sell Out. It’s such a heavy tune and really captures that classic Caspa grime that was one of the original driving factors in the development of my love for dubstep, however, all of the songs are so different, and EXTREMELY progressive in the realm of dubstep that I’m sure you’ll be amazed by them all. It’s not ALL about the heavy stuff, and Caspa really shows that by bringing in some sexy synths and throwing a very liquid/downtempo element onto Room 324. As for Jungle Juice, I was expecting to hear some jungle when I clicked play! Nope. Guess again. It’s some four to the floor dubstep for ya! Caspa has always been pushing the limits of what is considered possible in the world of bass and proves why he is a top player in the game, once again, with this upcoming EP, Sell Out. Stay tuned for more Dub Police on Ganjaology.
It’s rare these days to find a record shop that sells any dubstep that isn’t something that has been bought out by the corporate machine. You know, all that britneystep bullshit. The majority of the sound I speak of lives online.. if not in legitimate shops that sell vinyl which likely call London, home. Fortunately, I live in a place in which a record shop that specializes in Metal, Dub and Reggae can thrive. Believe it or not, there are DJs in Seattle that still spin vinyl.
So while perusing and purchasing some sounds new and old, I was gifted a sampler CD sponsored by none other than… yup, you guessed it. SCION. Now I don’t know if it helps them sell any cars, but they sure as hell can pick some legitimate tunes.
This particular compilation showcases Caspa’s own recording label, Dub Police. Established in 2004 during the early ages of the genre, Dub Police has been committed to seeking out and aiding in the development and drive of the globe’s best bass music artists. With names like Matty G, LD, Orien, L-Wiz, Emalkay, Trolley Snatcha, and Subscape among others, Dub Police has brought to the world a colossal lineup of artists for which I am truly thankful. Check below for a comprehensive listing of the tunes from the sampler and be sure to check back for the newest Dub Police releases on Ganjaology.org
So I discovered this banger with my fellow DJ Dozur a few nights back, as we were on our way to the club we were spinning at. It may seem like a nice usual banger from Caspa, but boy does it smack in the club. Caspa’s tunes are one thing to listen to on your own but its adds a whole other dimension when dropped in a club with a nice bassy system. Turn your subs up if ya got em. J. Hanna OUT!
New music from the dopest ghost in towwwwnn! Caspa just dropped his new track Sir Rock Alot today! The tune isn’t as wobbly as his usual stuff, but it has some nice chugging guitar in that nice Caspa dubstep flavor. Grab it on beatport, support your favorite artists! Enjoy.
So I had to post this classic dubstep hit. Caspa is coming to Seattle soon with Digitalism so I have been going through my archives of music and getting stoked for the show!
