My Itunes was on shuffle all evening and a few songs popped up that had really gotten buried in my collection of tunes. One I had to playback and that definitely carries some good old school memories with it is June, by Copywrite and RJD2. RJD2 and Copywrite were both huge influences in the style of music I was listening to growing up, and to this day their tunes have still not been played out. June is a long song and carries some heavy energy with it. Enjoy the build ups and break downs of this classic hip-hop track.
Damn this tune just needs a post, Its way too tough not to share. It’s been up for about a month on Lost’s soundcloud, and man is it a stinkah. The mix of Wiz’s vocals, over top the combined production of the two is just so perfectly heavy.
I saw Lost posting on twitter about how they wont ever be able to release it, so hopefully we’ll be blessed with a free 320 of it! Fingers crossed, we’ll keep you posted.
UPDATE: Here’s the link to a free 320 of the tune: http://bit.ly/SBQsbI
This is one of those EP’s that you go through, and you just wait for that one tune that you aren’t quite as into as the others, and you never hit it. Every single track off Original Sin’s latest release, which is available now, seriously blew me away. They maintain his traditionally loud, jump-up, style of DnB, while exploring new more melodic aspects with the track Soul Food. If you are attending any DnB shows in the next little bit, expect to hear these. There are a lot of other posts I need to do, so I’m keeping this one short, but check the previews below and grab the EP now on any of the ‘EDM’ sites.
Golly I really need to start posting more, got way too many tunes to share with you folks. Anyways, it’s likely that many of you have heard this tune, since it went straight to the top of the charts when it was release a couple weeks ago. Sub Zero’s absolutely immense remix of Danny Byrd’s latest, Blaze The Fire, has been getting plays by almost all of the biggest names in the DnB scene. Crissy Criss has dropped it several times on his show, and of course all the other DJ’s out there haven’t stopped playing it either. This tune really reminds me of the pounding basslines of some of Sub Zero’s other tracks like, one of my personal favorites, Your Flex, but it also brings the upbeat vocals of General Levy. Gotta get back to the homework grind, but make sure you grab this one ASAP. Big up big up big up Sub Zero.
DAMNN! is all I can say right now, this track is fucking nuts. It brings so many elements to the table and if you are searching Ganjaology for some heavy bass STOP and take a listen.
Bukez Finezt is actually trying to get to 5,000 likes on his Facebook page, and once that goal is reached he will give out a free EP!

OMG This release is a big one. With the title track on the EP, “Bounce” being such a big tune, and the two supporting 4×4 club bangers, this EP is set to do numbers. I knew there was something to the london based artist when I saw DJs like Taiki and Nulight and LAXX tweeting about how big his tunes were. I hadn’t even heard the artist Snarebox until now and this EP shows that this dude is serious. Go and grab this as soon as it comes out on Subway!!
Gotta keep this one short, but I had to post this one tonight. Forthcoming on Bassclash Records, The Guardian can simply be described as a very dark and eerie tune. With its robotic synths paired with some very deep and growly basslines, it is definitely noteworthy if you’re into the sounds of what I’ve been posting lately. Give this one a listen, and if anyone’s got a release date, please let me know in the comments below. Big up Audio Sleaze!!
Another huge one comin’ from Sparxy! First time I heard Antidote was on Genetix’ recent GetDarker set, and from the second it dropped I couldn’t help but move to it. The tune’s got Sparxy’s trademark deep and heavily distorted basslines, as well as some awesome, tribal like, percussion. No news on the label it’ll be dropping on or the release date, my guess is Bacon Dubs, but that’s just a guess, and in terms of the release date, all I can say is hopefully soon! Check the tune out below!
If I could have one tune released early right now it would for sure be this one. DnB heavyweights, The Prototypes, always put out such huge tunes, and this is a perfect example of their talent. Bad Signal starts up with a very melodic intro but quickly moves into a super energetic build. It retains it’s melodic qualities throughout the song, but delivers such heavy bass lines that are sure to get people moving. If you go to any DnB shows in the next little while, I’m sure you’ll hear this one get dropped, and on a side note if you get the chance to see The Prototypes live, do not pass up that chance. Big up to the UK based production/dj duo, can’t wait to hear what else they have in store for the rest of 2012.
Kinzy is a mad man! this tune is only 4 days old and iv’e listened to it hundreds of times already. That deep descending bass gets me everytime, big ups to Kinzy for giving this for free! Be sure to check out his pages and support him!

Such an immense tune, Funtcase has been dropping this one for a while now and I seriously am dying to get my hands on it. It has that very loud and grimey Genetix/Funtcase sound, while still bringing originality into the mix. The lead really brings that trancy four to the floor feel, but takes a complete 180 turn into absolute darkness. Sadly I can’t find any info on a release date for it, but it will be out on Image Muzik, and hopefully it’ll be soon! Big up to Max and Animate!
Warning!!!! This track “Dissonance” induces deadly addiction to bass-line. If your head is screwed on the right way you will notice some necessary deep head ingredients. Those are the distant harp plucks, hollowed drum taps, & tambourine shakes triggering the perfect pace for the entry of ground-shaking sounds. Following a couple finger clicks comes the initiation of hovering growls. The dense variation of deep rhythms in this track effectively concocts the best of heady ingredients. Cheers to Content & Pheral for this Massive treat!
This is evil, its inhumane. Skream you LEGEND
Seriously, not much else I can say listen up.
Yet another fresh crisp tune from across the pond, what else is new? Some serious sound design in this riddem, lovin’ absolutely every synth in this peice very gutteral and drenched in verb, gives it such a nasty deep feel and I’m digging the hell out of it. The ambience really gives the tune space making it sound other worldly. Excellent work on this one keep an eye on these two. Also, the sample is just awesome.
CHEAP LOUSY DIRTY STINKIN’ MUG
OH MY LORD!
Megalodon goin’ in on this VIP! this tune is the meaning of massive, massive enough for a rewind or two! Crushing percussion and deafening chugs… just what I like. The Aliens already killed it on the original but fuck it, let’s give it a double tap. BIG UP THE MEGALODON BIG UP THE ALIENS
Ganjaology is proud to present a HEAVY mix from none other than one of our finest writers, MowdiMcfly. This is not Mowdi’s first time around the block…tune in and check what this young gun from Orlando, Florida, is bringing to your speakers. All I can say is that his sound is HUGE. Big ups!
***The Ganjaologist does not support the use of dirty bongs***
Growling, howling, grunting, gasping, and gargling are among the sounds that will penetrate your head space in this dastardly mix by Soloman. Describing this mix as downright dirty just doesn’t do it justice. What do you call something so filthy you can’t put it into words?
We will have to discuss over tea. Pinkies up y’all!

Here’s a Skream track that I’ve never heard, I thought I’d share it with you all. It’s not quite as loud as some of his other tunes, but its still maintains the Skream heaviness. Apparently this tune been around for a while, so if you’ve heard it, why not take another listen. If you haven’t… why not take a listen. If you haven’t heard of skream, check out more of his tracks here.
Can’t quite remember where I first heard this one but I’m glad I took note of it, shit is heeaaaaavvvy!! Been gettin into P0gman a bit lately and this tune is a perfect example of his dark and choppy sounds. Can’t say I’ve heard much from Getter but I’ll definitely keep an eye out for him after hearing this track. Check it out below!
