Tony Goods – That’s Paper

Tony Goods has definitely been putting in work when it comes to his music.  His new track, That’s Paper, has been getting some heavy play throughout his parties the last couple months, and now it is time for the rest of the world to hear this club banger.  I don’t know where to begin trying to categorize That’s Paper…all I can say is…it SMACKS. Hard. Japanese label, Proper Pedigree Collective must be super stoked to be releasing such an original sounding, high energy track, from Tony Goods.  You can catch Tony Goods live every Thursday night at See Sound Lounge in Belltown, Seattle.  Enjoy this one!

J. Cole & Missy Elliott – Nobody’s Perfect (Tony Goods Bootleg)

Last week we featured a spectacular remix of J. Cole and Missy Elliott’s song , Nobody’s Perfect, that was produced by Ill-esha.  This week, we’ve got another remix of Nobody’s Perfect from the Pacific North West’s, Tony Goods.  When you’re surrounded by grey skies that provide a never ending source of cold rain, you often times find yourself needing something that brings heat to your life.   Bringing the heat is exactly what Mr. Tony Goods is doing with his brand new tropical bass bootleg.  You could be in the worst rainstorm of the year, without any rain gear on, in flip flops, freezing cold, and as soon as you put your (also soaking wet) headphones on and clicked play on Tony Good’s Nobody’s Perfect bootleg you’d be transported to the sunny beaches of Costa Rica sipping on a gin and tonic, watching the waves roll in and the beauties of the beach play volleyball.   The vibes are happy, the bass is kickin, peoples ears are happy.  Enjoy this free download!

Self Help & Tony Goods @ BSIDE Sunday Nov. 4th (Cleveland Heights, Ohio)

Cleveland, your favorite bass music DJ, Self Help, is bringing a special guest (and one of our good friends) to Bside on November 7th. All the way from Seattle, Washington, Tony Goods has been making quite a splash in the bass music pool worldwide.  Drawing musical inspiration from hip-hop, trap, dubstep, and minimal techno, you are about to experience the sound of the West Coast, and the energy of the Pacific North West from the moment Tony Goods enters the building.  Tony goods has played shows across the country spanning from New York City to San Francisco, but this is going to be his first time in Cleveland.  We need you all to come out, support the bass music movement that is taking place.  What’s the best thing about this show other than the music?  It’s FREE!  There are no excuses not to get out on the dance floor for this one!

Here is a brand new video of Self Help throwing down a 50 minute DJ set for Jack Shack TV!

Tony Goods – Lose It

Tony Goods, the bastard love child of Dash EXP, has just released some new fire to heat up your speakers and re-energize  all the positive vibrations in your world.  With his new song Lose It, Tony Goods is really showing that the North West is and will always be a leader in the North American bass music scene.  His take on juke is downright awesome.  What’s really caught my ear about this track is how nicely Tony Goods has made his sub, kick, and sample interact and play off of each other.  It gives the song a very liquid feel and keeps your feet moving nicely even though the percussion and drums are sporadic and on their own agenda.  Lose It is being released through Brapdem! Recordings on the first edition of their new multi-artist mixtape series called All Day.  The whole mixtape is really funky and definitely worth picking up.   It’s filled with a lot of fast, 808 packed, ass shaking, tunes that are laced up with extra deep bass lines and beautifully chaotic breakdowns.  Pick up the new Brapdem! mixtape HERE and be sure to check out Tony Goods on FACEBOOK, and SOUNDCLOUD to support his hard work!!!
