Alison Wonderland – I Want U (Ganz Flip)

Ganz has really crushed this remix of Alison Wonderland’s original tune “I Want U”. Caught somewhere between Trap and Dubstep, this tune really shows the Dutch producer’s signature sound. His huge synths paired with crisp percussion layer so nicely to surround Alison’s angelic voice. Biggin up the Ganz!

Disclosure – “You & Me” (Flume Remix)

Well… This track has been out for 13 hours and it already has almost 200,000 plays on sound cloud. If that doesn’t tell you that this song is a tune, just listen for yourself. Flume aka Harley Streten, is a 21 year old DJ and Producer from Sydney, Australia. He’s definitely got some skill on the production end. I have yet to hear a mix from him but with this type of audio talent I’m sure he can spin a few tunes. This one is unique, it’s production is clean, and the vibes on it are sick! Check this one below if you’ve got a second.

Baauer – “DumDum”

Man the Brooklyn based producer, Baauer is killing it. He’s been doing work for Mad Decent recently with his electronic infused trap music. This tune is forthcoming on LuckyMe Records and it’s just too big to not share. The 808 kick is so heavy I swear it could bring down the house, literally and figuratively. Get out your pyrex pot and turn up your sub, this one is sick.

Brown, Gammon vs The Shangri-Las vs Nancy Sinatra – Remember These Boots (BEATSTROKED!!!)

This track is absolutely incredible!! I’m not sure where to start praising this three way mash up…do the vocals lead the song?  Are the wobbles what really capture you?  Is it the well known and deep emotion pulled from the lyrics of Nancy Sinatra’s voice? Beatstroke killed it. Big ups from Ganjaology! No matter what style of dubstep you prefer, this will catch your attention. Have a listen for Yourself.  Did I mention I love flying tigers?

Big Up Podcast #50 – Phaeleh

I’ve always been a fan of podcasts and am always happy to find a new subscription to get excited about.  This past week I came across Big Up Magazine Podcast and downloaded a couple episodes.  Yes, I was excited, and for good reason.  These were incredible mixes by todays biggest players in bass music and covered a wide range of music while staying pretty specific.  Make sense?  I ran through mixes by Modeselector, Mexicans With Guns, Ghostpoet, and then came across a mix by Phaeleh that blew me away with it’s smooth, sub driven beats and airy melodies.  Phaeleh produced every track you hear on this mix.  This is on par with the Mad Decent Luvstep mix that was released in 2010 AKA one of the coldest and sexiest mixes ever recorded in the history of humanity.  Deep. Powerful. Inspirational. Downright moving.  This has been on repeat at the Ganjaology headquarters for a couple days now…here is what you’re next 47min  (or next couple days) will consist of…

0:00 Phaeleh – Numb
3:39 Phaeleh – In The Twilight
5:56 Phaeleh – Unwanted (feat. Anneka)
7:46 J-One – All I Need (Phaeleh Remix)
10:03 Phaeleh – Should Be True
13:15 Phaeleh – Lament
15:12 Phaeleh – Natural Feeling
17:09 Phaeleh – Plink
19:12 Phaeleh – Think About It
21:56 Phaeleh – Lykasea
24:13 Phaeleh – Afterglow (feat. Soundmouse)
26:44 Phaeleh – Soulfunk
29:15 Phaeleh – Isolate
